Catching up on some old episodes and really enjoyed this one! I'm curious if you have any scholarship you'd recommend for the theological significance of the different genealogies? I'm particularly struck that the grandfathers are conveniently men named Jacob and Eli, respectively? Has anyone made anything of the (Grand)son of Jacob = Israel = King and (Grand)son of Eli = Priest?
